Assix of the World
England: 2021
The Axis of the World is a column in Ombra di Caravaggio marble, twisted and tapered, apparently endless, which penetrates the Earth by perforating its core while, at the same time, rising over 16 meters height to touch the sky.
Study and planning were present from the earliest stages of processing, starting from the selection of the marble directly from the quarry, then from the development and technical execution in our workshop, up to the supervision of the installation.
We are honored by the collaboration with Maestro Claudio Parmiggiani on this Work, which is a permanent installation in the sculpture park of the eighteenth-century Palladian-style residence in Houghton Hall, England.
